VistaJet program membership up 57% year-on-year

VistaJet’s program membership has grown by 57% across all regions compared to last year, the company has revealed.

This represented 63% of the company’s revenue in the second quarter, with 37% of new hours sold in the first half of 2017 generated as add-ons compared to 16% the previous year.

Among its other growth achievements, VistaJet saw a 51% hike in total flight hours sold in Q2 compared to the same period last year, and has recorded a 91% customer retention rate this year.

Thomas Flohr, chairman and founder of VistaJet, said, “We have spent 13 years building up a world-class fleet and unsurpassed global offering, and I want to thank everyone involved in the business for their hard work and commitment to serve our clients.

“Our impressive performance is the proof that customers have embraced our unique model. We look forward to continuing to shake up the business aviation industry to offer our customers the true alternative to full and fractional aircraft ownership without compromise.”

The USA remains a significant area of growth for the business, with 59% of customers in the region adding more flight hours this year than they flew in 2016. Demand for flights to and from Europe has also been consistent, which VistaJet credits to an overall improvement in the continent’s economic environment.
