Discussions surrounding what the hub could evolve into by 2045 included the airport’s strengths, thoughts on the return of scheduled services and opportunities for growth.

The future of flying

The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) has published a report in cooperation with young people think tank ThinkYoung called Expanding Horizons: How Millennials see the Future of Business Aviation. The survey asked young people aged 18-25 in Germany, France, the UK and Switzerland about mobility, business aviation and the future of sustainable personal air transport. HondaJet celebrates successful 2017

Figures released by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association has unveiled Honda Aircraft Company’s HondaJet as the most delivered jet in its category for 2017.

In 2017, Honda Aircraft delivered 43 aircraft to customers in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia. The company is steadily increasing production and is currently manufacturing the aircraft at a rate of four per month at its facility in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Michimasa Fujino, president and CEO at Honda Aircraft, commented, “We would like to thank our customers for choosing the HondaJet for its value, features and performance, making it the most delivered jet in its category. We look forward to continuing to create new value in business aviation across the world.”

HondaJet has hit a number of significant milestones, including receiving type certifications around the world, breaking 13 speed records, opening a new dealer facility in Guangzhou in China and signing an agreement to deliver 16 HondaJets to French air taxi company Wijet.
