Planet 9, a luxury aircraft management and private charter company headquartered in Los Angeles celebrated its fifth anniversary this month.
With year-over-year growth, Planet 9 is one of the leading ultra-long-range charter operators.
The company continues to provide premier inflight services, enhanced security and safety measures and a range of advanced fleets that includes models from Falcon, Bombardier and Gulfstream to choose from for both their current and future clientele.
“Planet 9 has grown significantly since it first launched, surpassing even the recent meteoric growth of the industry. As we look back on our first five years, I attribute it to our unwavering commitment to guest service that has garnered us repeat business from our discerning clientele, as well as word of mouth leading to new fliers,” said Matt Walter, co-founder of Planet 9.
“We serve heads of state and industry, celebrities and other individuals whose travel logistics may be complex or require efficiency. Many of our leadership and crew have worked together for years, prior to Planet 9, which has provided the company with a solid foundation in aircraft management. Between logistics and our guest-first service, we offer a best-in-class option for those seeking private air travel.”
Since launching in 2018, Planet 9 has grown from 3 aircraft and 13 employees.
Now, the fleet consists of 31 aircraft, with the recent delivery of a Gulfstream GIV N188SA, and a staff and crew of 144, including 109 Pilots, and 24 in-flight representatives.
This past year alone, Planet 9 flew a total of 5,051,316 miles to an array of locations worldwide, of which they have significantly seen an uptick in flights to Asia, specifically Japan and Korea.
