Flight Pro International (FPI) has made significant strides in preparation for the upcoming eu-LISA Entry/Exit System (EES) implementation on November 10th and the subsequent European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS).
As operators flying into the Schengen Area will soon be required to comply with eu-LISA regulations, FPI has expanded its services to assist clients with the registration process.
Furthermore, the company has achieved certification with eu-LISA and developed a system-to-system connection between the EES system and FlightProConnect.com (FPC), their proprietary trip management software.
Matt Pahl, FPI president and COO said, “Adding the eu-LISA certification is only one of many approaches we’ve taken to expand our services into areas that will enrich our clients’ flight operations experience. Our primary purpose has always been to provide premier trip management services to our clientele regardless of trip, aircraft, or destination types.”
FPI’s influence extends beyond eu-LISA preparations. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently adopted language authored by FPI’s Compliance and Regulatory Team regarding procedures for bringing dogs into the U.S., now a standard recommendation for GA operators.
Pahl said, “Whether obtaining regulatory certifications, authoring new guidance procedures, participating in the Customs and Border Protection RSP program, or developing a custom trip management software program, our goal is to alleviate pain points our clients have experienced before bringing FPI on as an extension of their flight departments.”
Recent upgrades to FPC, announced by FPI’s in-house software development team, include a trip planner feature for multi-airport queries and comparisons, offline operations capability with 14-day visibility, a real-time feedback system, and an in-app messaging center for mobile devices. These new features complement FPC’s existing mobile optimization, security measures, and scalability.
Roberto Cormack, FPI Executive VP, CIO, and leader of the FPC development team said, “As with the rest of FPC, the Trip Planner feature was designed to coordinate a large amount of pertinent data to be at your fingertips in an organized and quickly-accessible manner, so that your research is as smooth as your operations experience will be when using FPI.
“Additionally, all FPC tools are free for FPI clients… No subscriptions or added fees are implemented for access.”
