Falcon Aviation has celebrated the one-year anniversary of its Dubai South FBO with IS-BAH accreditation. The FBO, located in the VIP Terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport, was awarded the certification following a third-party audit by the International Business Aircraft Council.
The endorsement is a nod to Falcon Aviation adhering to a voluntary code of best safety practice for FBOs. The news follows the appointment of new FBO manager Ahmad Badreddine, who joined the operation in July.
Raman Oberoi, chief operating officer at Falcon Aviation, commented, “We are delighted with this recognition as it has been a priority for us this year as we build up our activity in Dubai to mirror our Abu Dhabi Al Bateen Executive Airport performance. This means we can move into the New Year with a ringing industry endorsement of in-house handling excellence.”
Commenting on the certification, Terry Yeomans, program director for IS-BAH, added, “We are very pleased that the industry standards have been successfully implemented through to Stage I registration at the Falcon Aviation station at DWC and trust that the team will continue their commitment to ground-handling safety as a core value in their service provision to the business aviation community.”
