Cirrus Aircraft has announced it has received Vision Jet Type Certificate approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and delivered its first aircraft to Europe.
EASA approval comes after Cirrus Aircraft earned the Vision Jet Type Certificate from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in October 2016, and its Production Certificate earlier this month.
In addition to the EASA validation, the Vision Jet recently received approval from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) in Australia. With more than 600 production positions reserved, deliveries of the single-engine personal jet began last December.
