Chapman Freeborn Airchartering is celebrating a quarter of a century of operations in Poland. The group has been an established presence in Poland since 1993, when it opened its office in Warsaw to serve local charter clients. These included multinational corporations, conference and incentive travel companies, and the sports industry. In 2015, a second office was opened in Katowice to help meet increased demand for the company’s charter expertise.
Russi Batliwala, CEO of Chapman Freeborn Airchartering, commented, “Twenty-five years in the aviation industry is an achievement to be proud of. The key to our success in Poland has been the amazing group of people that make up our team – as well as the longstanding support of our customers and airline suppliers.”
The celebratory event held to mark the occasion provided an opportunity to recognize several team members for their length of service, including Wojciech Trzpiel – who has worked at the company for a decade – and Idalia Glodowska and Rafal Gontar, who have served the company for 23 and 25 years respectively.
Radoslaw Puchalski, country manager for the business, added, “Our team in Poland continues to go from strength to strength, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished.
“The business has been based on providing innovative charter solutions and personal service for 25 years, and that is the way we want to continue as we look to the future.”
