Meridian is an award-winning, private aviation company with locations at Teterboro Airport near New York City, and Hayward Executive Airport near San Francisco.
The company owns and operates businesses that include FBOs, Private Air Charter, Aircraft Management, and Aircraft Maintenance. We also have charter sales offices located at Van Nuys Airport and Sonoma County Airport in California.
Meridian Teterboro has earned numerous industry awards and accolades for its exceptional service. It is a full-service FBO that offers a complete range of private aviation services including executive lounge and conference rooms, Art Deco-style movie theatre and a gym. In addition to FBO services, we also offer private air charter, aircraft management, and Part 145 (FAA-approved) repair station services, including turbine and piston.
The design of our facility creates a natural flow through our lobby into the common areas. In addition, we have an open kitchen that flight crews can freely access, making their experience much like being in their own home. We also offer some unique features, such as a pilots’ lounge with billiards table and sleep rooms.
Our Teterboro facility has an average of 2,500 jet departures/arrivals per month, averaging around 80 per day. We have two peak periods each year: May-June and September to mid-December. We have always made people feel at home here. As a result, we have many long-time customers. Also, we have a low turnover rate, so our customers will often see familiar faces!
Our proximity to New York City makes both our airport and FBO one of the most popular reasons customers come to us. We are located only 9 miles from Manhattan. In addition to New York City being a major financial hub, each year, events like Fashion Week, the UN General Assembly, US Open, and the holiday season in New York are the big events that draw heavy traffic to our facility.
What makes our FBO stand out from competitors is service, service, service! Our FBO has been recognized by industry surveys as being one of the nation’s best FBOs. We are also the CAA preferred FBO at Teterboro Airport. This designation is voted for by CAA members every three years, and only one FBO at each airport can have this designation. CAA is a membership-based organization that is dedicated to enhancing the operating efficiencies of corporate flight departments. A CAA Preferred FBO represents a combination of good service and fair pricing for its members, serviced by the most highly qualified personnel and FBO management in the industry.
In 2018, we opened a brand new 40,000ft² hangar just down the road from our FBO, creating more opportunities for hard-to-find hangarage at our airport. In addition, we are exploring replacing another Meridian hangar on the south side of the airport (Hangar 107), with a brand new and larger hangar. Finally, we are working with the airport’s governing agency (Port Authority of NY & NJ) to acquire adjacent land to extend our ramp space.
In the summer or fall of 2019, we are planning an interior facelift, which will include new paint, carpeting, wallpaper, and furniture in our main lobby.
