Cambridge City Airport in the UK has opened its new Jet Centre offering in-house FBO services to its executive business charter customers.
Investment has included redesigning and rebranding the existing centre to offer up-to-the minute facilities and bring it in line with its new pink and blue color scheme, introduced this summer as part of its plans to grow its executive charter business.
The FBO’s executive VIP lounge includes modern comfort facilities, complimentary refreshments and new private business center, as well as pilot and crew lounge.
It also incorporates conference facilities for up to 14 delegates, with projector and telecoms facilities, as well as panoramic views across the airfield and the Cambridgeshire countryside.
“The services we offer have been implemented specifically with our passengers front and centre of our strategy, to provide up-to-the-minute comfort, safety and relaxation and allow them to maximise their valuable time,” said airport director, Kevan Craske.
“Cambridge City Airport is an important local facility that local businesses rely on. They deserve the best facilities available, so we’ve worked hard to provide them.”
FBO facilities include aircraft, passenger and baggage handling, refueling, security, customs and immigration services, as well as passenger and pilot relaxation areas and business facilities.
Cambridge City Airport is owned and managed by Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, who have been making significant investment in the airport in recent months, including appointing Kevan Craske as director in August and revamping the airport’s corporate image and website.
