German special mission and VIP-charter operator FAI rent-a-jet, part of FAI Aviation Group, has acquired its second Premier 1A jet aircraft on behalf of a corporate client.
It is anticipated that the Premier 1A will enter turnkey charter operations under management contract in June following a carbon fiber style full cabin refurbishment and new exterior designer paint. This latest addition will bring the company’s fleet of jet aircraft to 27.
FAI’s chairman Siegfried Axtmann said,“Having a second Premier 1A under management contract will enable FAI to expand its presence in the light jet charter sector and respond to the current increased demand in this segment. With the operating costs of a Citation Jet and close to the cabin height and speed of a Learjet 60, the Premier 1A offers the perfect tool for entry-level jet travel.”
The new addition will further complement FAI’s Nuremberg-based fleet which comprises six Global Express, one Challenger 850, six Challenger 604s, 12 Learjet 60s, together with now two Premier 1A’s plus one King Air 350 turboprop.
