FBO Air Service Basel in Switzerland has launched a package of measures to help aircraft operators during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The measures aim to help operators maintain passenger requests, crew training and aircraft airworthiness so launches a package available immediately to all handling requests.
The full-service FBO located at EuroAirport in Basel, Switzerland, remains operational, despite border restrictions. It said it is maintaining the highest level of health and hygiene measures for their clients and employees.
All operations teams are prepared to handle and contain suspected cases, and to-date, there have been no suspected cases of Covid-19 at Air Service Basel.
The 555 package signifies that operators can make five flights within five days with the fifth handling and parking fees waived.
The package includes the following additional benefits to make turnaround smooth and efficient for all customers:
- Access to crew support and lounge
- Fast ramp fuel
- No slots airport – flexible flight planning
- Transfer reservations
- Opening hours 06:00 – 22:00 (extensions possible on request)
The 555 package is available until 30th June 2020.
The facilities at Air Service Basel include a 4500 square meter parking hangar, available for short and long-term aircraft parking and an on-site internationally recognized maintenance and repair facility. Passenger services include direct ramp access, concierge services and private lounge.
