Marathon Aviation has opened a new luxury FBO and hangar complex in the Florida Keys.
The new 3,000 square foot FBO facility has been inspired by Ernest Hemingway and offers VVIP luxuries, including relaxation and leisure areas complete with a recreation table, and outdoor viewing decks. The building is designed with a modern, yet authentically charming, Key West-aesthetic and also features a spacious kitchen and café area.
The new 12,000 square foot hangar, featuring 28f doors, is able to accommodate all aircraft up to a G650 and offers a convenient location for easy taxiway, runway and highway access.
Marty Hiller, Marathon Aviation’s owner said, “We are thrilled to welcome guests to our iconic new FBO, providing a fully immersive, luxury Middle Keys experience. As a launchpad for US Customs and a gateway for the region’s tourism, five-star resorts and world-renowned fishing industry, we’re proud to unveil this investment in the local community, economy and our customers ahead of the busy winter season.”
Marathon Aviation owns and operates two FBOs at the Marathon International Airport (MTH). Marathon General Aviation provides aviation gasoline and related services on the east end of the airport. Marathon Jet Center provides jet A fuel and associated services mid-field and on the west end of the airport.
Marathon Aviation’s offers expedited customs, 24/7 service, a direct from UG448 approach, attentive concierge support, no wait times, and a 5,008ft runway. As an Avfuel-branded FBO, Marathon Aviation also offers AVTRIP rewards and Avfuel Contract Fuel.
