During the 2023 edition of the Italian Grand Prix SEA Prime recorded very positive results.
Between September 1-4 the company managed a total of 750 business aviation movements at Linate and Malpensa Prime, with a peak of 300 movements on Sunday 3.
These results reflect the positive trend recorded by one of the most followed sporting events in Italy, which has attracted more than 330,000 spectators from all over the world.
During the Grand Prix weekend, SEA Prime operations, with the support of the Italian air traffic control (ENAV) and civil aviation authority (ENAC) managed the helicopter shuttle – operated by Elilombarda – with a special procedure to enable spectators to easily reach the racing circuit directly from the apron, with a total of 134 helicopters’ rotations.
The aircraft of the Presidency of the Republic of Italy and the iconic Frecce Tricolori, for the traditional display before the start of the Grand Prix, also took off from Linate airport.
