Execujet’s new Brussels FBO location has been awarded International Standards for Business Aviation Handlers (IS-BAH) accreditation by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) – making it the first facility in Belgium to reach this status. The award, which comes after a period of assessment by IBAC, is recognition that the FBO maintains high standards of service and safety.
The FBO at Brussels International Airport has been managed by Execujet since December 2016, with VVIP lounges, meeting rooms, free wi-fi, a pilot’s lounge and 5,000m² of hangar space among its facilities. It has 24 staff members, made up of 15 ramp staff and nine handling agents.
An-Céline Claes, Execujet Brussels FBO manager, said, “Our IS-BAH accreditation is recognition and reward for all the hard work that has been put into the Brussels FBO after just two months of Execujet ownership. As a business aviation operator with a global presence, we work hard to ensure that all of our facilities are of the same high standards.
“We are delighted to be the first facility to achieve IS-BAH status in Belgium, propelling Execujet and the Luxaviation Group to another level in the region. Our above-and-beyond services include presidential and VIP flight coordination, customs and immigration arrangements, luxury private lounges, and top-of-the-range meeting and conference facilities.”
