Luxaviation Group, one of the largest business aircraft and helicopter operators worldwide headquartered in Luxembourg, has announced that ExecuJet Germany, has received a renewal of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) Stage II accreditation at its Berlin FBO.
The IS-BAH, issued by the International Business Aviation Council, commends aviation ground handlers for a set of standard best practices, and its aim is to ensure the safety and competency of business aviation ground handling service providers.
The renewal of the certification, which was first obtained in 2017, is a confirmation of ExecuJet’s commitment to ensuring continuous state-of-the-art service and safety standards at its facilities. The FBO, located at the Berlin Brandenburg Airport in Germany, is the gateway to the German capital region.
Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation said, “This is an outstanding milestone for ExecuJet Germany, and evidence of the ongoing excellence delivered by the team in Berlin. We are extremely proud to continue demonstrating our commitment to safety in all our FBOs.”
Heiko Hoene, station manager Berlin said, “Being awarded the renewal of the Stage II accreditation is an achievement that pushes us to continue offering excellent experiences to our customers, both on the ground and in the air.”
Ulrike Grüner, safety manager Berlin said, “I would like to personally thank the team at the Berlin FBO for their continuous efforts to maintain impeccable safety and service standards for our customers.”
The Berlin FBO was the first in Germany to have received the IS-BAH accreditation Stage I in December 2015, and one of the first across Europe to hold the certificate.
