IAM Jet Centre has become the first FBO group in Latin America and the Caribbean to gain certification for IS-BAH Stage 2 at its four facilities in Montego Bay in Jamaica, Barbados, Grenada and Tortola in the British Virgin Island.
The FBO’s chairman, Paul Worrell, said, “After considerable effort and with our culture of attention to detail, IAM has once again met IS-BAH’s demanding standards for safety, operations and service best practices. We are very pleased to be one of the first 20 FBO enterprises worldwide to certify to Stage 2.”
Edward Foster, general manager for IAM Jet Centre’s Jamaica facility, added, “We recognize that professional flight departments around the world expect the highest standards of support at the FBO to compliment the equally demanding IS-BAO certification that the best operators maintain. Being at the forefront of the IS-BAH program allows IAM to meet and exceed their expectations.”
IAM Jet Centre will shortly begin development of its fifth FBO at Hewanorra in St Lucia.
