Jet Aviation has been named the FBO of the Year at the Middle East Aviation Business Awards. As part of an awards ceremony held at the Conrad Dubai hotel, the company was honored for its facility at Dubai International Airport, while its MRO in the city was shortlisted in the MRO Service Provider of the Year (International) category.
The Middle East Aviation Business Awards are held in the region annually, with 15 categories for 2016. Jet Aviation first established an FBO at Dubai International Airport in 2005, and since then has handled more than 25,000 aircraft arriving from all over the world. It has earned many awards, and earlier this year was voted Best FBO in the Middle East & Africa in the 2016 Professional Pilot PRASE Survey for the sixth time.
Philippe Gerard, senior director of Jet Aviation’s Dubai FBO, said of the company’s latest achievement, “I am very proud and honored to accept this award on behalf of our team of handling professionals in Dubai. We strive to distinguish our services by paying attention to the smallest of details to provide a personalized service that is truly memorable.”
Hardy Butschi, vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation’s Dubai operations, added, “The Aviation Business Awards plays an important role in promoting the industry commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement, which we at Jet Aviation are fully committed to.”
