Jet manage and charter company Jet Exchange has secured a new Air Operator Certificate (AOC) for its fleet, which now includes a Challenge 604 aircraft.
Total AOC assisted Jet Exchange in gaining the new certificate, managing all aspects of the application, from drafting the manuals to providing interview preparation, ensuring Jet Exchange satisfied all the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority to run charter operations on the mid-range heavy jet.
Ian Austin, managing director at Jet Exchange, said, “We have been running a managed fleet for eight years, and it’s a huge milestone for us to get an AOC. This is a new chapter in the company’s future. The support from Total AOC was invaluable.”
Jet Exchange is now using Total AOC’s management system Centrik to handle a variety of disciplines including safety, risk, training and document control.
“With all the systems that operators are required to comply with, I can’t imagine how you would be able to run an AOC without Centrik. We are extremely happy with it. It’s a super tool for both the crew and the management to have complete oversight and tracking of what is going on,” Austin said.
Jet Exchange will now be pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and will be looking to acquire further aircraft for the fleet in the near future.
