Nexus has completed the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage 3 Registration Certification after successfully undergoing an independent three-day audit across its global operations.
The achievement makes Nexus the only commercial operator in Saudi Arabia to receive the certification. Stage 3 is the final and highest level that can be obtained over the five-year performance-based assessment.
IS-BAO was developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and is a recommended code of best practices designed to help flight departments across the world achieve high levels of safety and professionalism.
Abdullah Al-Sayed, founder and chairman of Nexus, said, “This is one of the most significant milestones in our young company’s history because it cannot be achieved by one or two employees, but rather it measures your system-wide commitment to a sustainable safety management system, the presence of a positive safety culture and the fact that your safety management activities are fully integrated into your business.
