TAG Aviation’s Spanish FBO, located at Barajas Airport, not far from Madrid, has successfully renewed its accreditation to the Wyvern Wingman safety program, following an on-site safety audit. The Wyvern Wingman standard is a globally acknowledged benchmark in aviation safety, reflecting a commitment to best practices, and the highest level of safety and protocol.
Wingman operators are required to pass an audit, which demands transparency with respect to safety records, operational history and procedures, pilot experience and established training programs. Other safety accolades include the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) certification, with TAG Aviation Spain recently awarded its Stage 1 from the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC).
Sergio Saz, charter services manager, TAG Aviation Spain, said, “We are proud to have had our prestigious Wyvern Wingman status renewed. It is a hugely important endorsement within the business aviation industry and underpins our investment in providing best-in-class service and operations. Safety is one of the core values of TAG Aviation and successful completion of the Wyvern Wingman audit is an assurance to our customers, industry partners and employees, of our ongoing commitment to maintain the highest safety standards at all times.”
