Due to increased demand, London Biggin Hill is introducing Boxing Day opening hours this year for the first time.
Private jet travelers will be able to use the airport from 10am to 6pm on December 26, 2018.
Andy Patsalides, marketing manager at London Biggin Hill Airport, commented, “As one of the world’s most significant business and financial centers, it is vital that we provide consistent access to London, even during the festive period.
“The decision to open on Boxing Day is particularly in response to the needs of our customers from the USA. Since extending our regular operating hours 18 months ago, transatlantic movements at the airport have surged, with the latest Business Aviation INSIGHT report from WINGX showing a 40.5% year-on-year increase.
“Travelers from across the Atlantic will be able to board a flight late on Christmas Day and arrive in London by mid-morning on the 26th, be it for business or pleasure.”
