Avflight Corporation, a leading provider of aviation services, has announced the acquisition of its 26th FBO, Avflight Hattiesburg, at Mississippi’s Hattiesburg/Laurel Regional Airport (KPIB).
Avflight acquired US Aviation FBO Services, including its 4,000-square-foot FBO terminal and 125,000 square feet of hangar space.
The FBO terminal is equipped with all the amenities modern travel requires, including passenger and pilot lounges, and catering capabilities.
Avflight’s acquired hangar capacity includes 18 units with the ability to accommodate aircraft up to a Gulfstream G550.
This strategic acquisition marks another milestone in Avflight’s growth trajectory and underscores its commitment to delivering exceptional services to the aviation community.
“We are excited to grow the Avflight FBO Network with the addition of Hattiesburg,” said Garrett Hain, vice president of finance and treasurer at Avflight. “This acquisition not only expands our geographic reach, but also reinforces our dedication to serving general aviation operations at key locations across North America.”
“The Avflight team is proud to support the Hattiesburg community as its new gateway for visitors, contributing to the region’s economic growth,” said Hain. “Avflight looks forward to building lasting relationships with local stakeholders and investing in initiatives that enhance the region’s prosperity.”
Those who have historically frequented KPIB will notice familiar faces at Avflight Hattiesburg; the FBO will retain an existing team of dedicated professionals, ensuring service continuity and a seamless transition for guests while enhancing customer care through the expertise, strength and resources offered by the Avflight Network.
