Irvine-based public charter air carrier JetSuiteX has committed to donating a portion of flight ticket sales to the relief effort surrounding the California wildfires that are currently raging through the south of the state.
All tickets sold on December 12 had a percentage donated to the American Red Cross, which will help distribute money to different organizations battling the fives blazes and planning the recovery process.
Alex Wilcox, CEO and co-founder of JetSuiteX, commented, “In the days since the fires began, our pilots have navigated over the fire zones, and the scene is just heartbreaking. We are hopeful that in this holiday season, we can do at least a little to help support those affected by the fires in our region.”
California is JetSuiteX’s primary market, offering flights between the state, Montana and Nevada. Flights are operated by its subsidiary Delux Public Charter or JetSuite.
