Monmouth Jet Center, exclusive FBO of Monmouth Executive Airport in Wall, New Jersey, has launched airport-based helicopter charters and shuttle services to New York City and surrounding areas.
Helicopter services are to be provided by New York Helicopter, which recently moved its fleet of helicopters and base of operations to Monmouth Executive Airport.
The company made the decision to move after years of rent increases and operation costs at other New York-area helipads.
Rita Spader, executive director of operations at Monmouth Airport, said, “We’re thrilled to have the fleet of New York Helicopter based at Monmouth Jet Center.
“It’s a vital step in our mission to make Monmouth attractive to other operators who are sick of the delays, high fees and operation costs they are paying at the other northeast airports. Now they can bring their clients here and shuttle them conveniently into the city by helicopter in 15 or 20 minutes.”
