Aircraft Support Industries (ASI), a world leader in the design and construction of aircraft maintenance facilities, has just completed a new hangar complex for Nagaworld in Cambodia. Located in the capital, Phnom Penh, Nagaworld is an integrated hotel and entertainment complex, which also has an FBO at the main airport to service its VIP clients. The hangar, built by ASI, is large enough to incorporate a range of private and business jets, including the Airbus A320.
A key feature of the new structure is its arched roof, fabricated in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, then trucked across the border to Phnom Penh, bolted together on-site. Other features include vertical lift doors, allowing flexible, fast and well-sealed protection from the weather, as well as the ability to open the entire hangar span.
ASI is part of the ASI Global group of companies, specializing in engineering and construction within the aviation sector. Its facilities can be seen in a number of regions, including Australasia, Southeast Asia, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and North America.
