Sheltair, a leading provider of aviation support services, has announced another development at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport – the new construction of Atlantic Jet Refinishing.
“Atlantic Jet Refinishing is a welcomed addition to the Sheltair construction portfolio. We pride ourselves in offering an unrivaled level of service through luxury aviation amenities that keep safety, integrity, quality and efficiency at the forefront. Atlantic Jet Refinishing is a true compliment to these values,” said Todd Anderson, Senior VP of real estate and development of Sheltair.
Atlantic Jet Refinishing offers customized exterior aircraft paint and refinishing services for all types of corporate aircrafts.
“We’re thrilled to be developing a larger facility that will provide Atlantic Jet Refinishing the ability to service clients from across the world via the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport,” said Zachary Sherman, partner of Atlantic Jet Refinishing.
“Our growth is a testament to the continued development of Sheltair and the expansive services it offers to the aviation industry.”
The facility, which began construction July 2019, is one of the numerous construction efforts by Sheltair this year.
It is being constructed simultaneously as the recently announced 20-acre Northside Hangar Complex at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport with fixed-base operator services offered by Banyan Air Service.
The US$30 million complex will not only include a 157,000,000 square foot hangar consisting of eight large cabin-class sized hangars and an additional 31,000 square feet of office and shop space but will also be the home of Banyan’s Northside FBO terminal.
Additional growth and expansion of hangar and office facilities have taken place at Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, New York, Savannah and now Colorado locations.
Atlantic Jet Refinishing’s new facility is expected to be open and servicing costumers by the end of the year.
