FBO Tacoma Narrows Aviation has completed a major renovation on its 13,000ft² hangar, based near Seattle, Washington.
The hangar can accommodate aircraft up to a Challenger 604, and received new exterior and interior siding, insulation, windows, lighting, and electrical and fire suppression.
The renovation is part of a project that will see the FBO, one of the two service providers on the field, move into a new complex that is to be completed in autumn.
The US$2m project will also replace the terminal with a 5,000ft², two story contemporary building that is to feature a catering kitchen, media room and flight planning area, with the upstairs set to be leased office space.
Joining the terminal will be an additional hangar that will be able to house midsize business jets, bringing the facility’s total hangar capacity to 30,000ft².
