Palm Springs, California-based business aviation company Desert Jet has completed construction of its new executive FBO at the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport.
Desert Jet enters the region’s peak season with the new FBO facility, the addition of another light jet to its charter fleet and a newly launched customer loyalty program. The company also recently appointed a new CEO, Jared Fox.
The new US$7 million FBO at the Desert Jet Center, Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport in Palms Springs/Thermal, California is the first and only full-service FBO in the area. It offers ground handling, ramp parking, fuel, hangarage, aircraft detailing, maintenance, aircraft acquisitions, sales, management and charter.
The 32,500-square-foot FBO features a terminal with floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple amenities, an observation deck and the only air-conditioned aircraft hangar in the entire Palm Springs and Coachella Valley.
Its 22,500-square-foot hangar has 28ft hangar doors to easily accommodate aircraft as large as the Gulfstream G650 and Global 6000. Additionally, the FBO recently launched a customer loyalty program.
Desert Jet is also upgrading to its jet charter fleet with a Cessna Citation CJ3 aircraft with GOGO L3 Avance high-speed Wi-Fi installed.
