I.A.M. Jet Centre, now a member of the Signature Aviation family, has become the first FBO group in Latin America and the Caribbean and among very few worldwide, to successfully achieve the highest level of IS-BAH certification at its flagship facilities in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Barbados, Grenada and Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
The confirmation of IS-BAH Stage 3 came in early October after several months of preparation and the subsequent detailed audit.
“After considerable effort and with our culture of attention to detail, I.A.M. has once again met IS-BAH’s demanding standards for safety, operations and service best practices. We are very pleased to be one of the first 20 FBO enterprises worldwide to certify to Stage 3,” said I.A.M. director, Caribbean / Latin America Thomas Harper.
I.A.M. general manager, Jamaica, Edward Foster said, “We recognise that professional flight departments around the world expect the highest standards of support at the FBO to compliment the equally demanding IS-BAO certification that the best operators maintain. Being at the forefront of the IS-BAH programme allows I.A.M. to meet and exceed their expectations.”
General manager Barbados and network operations manager, Donna Goddard said, “Our management system is always at the centre of our daily best practice. We understand that international flight service companies expect FBOs to operate to the highest standards for client aircraft . That is what we do”.
I.A.M. Jet Centre by Signature opened its newest flagship FBO at Hewanorra, St. Lucia in December 2019.
