Jet Aviation has appointed David Best as its senior vice president and general manager of regional operations in the USA. Best succeeds David Paddock, who was recently announced as the new president of the Jet Aviation Group.
Best joined Jet Aviation in January 2017 and was responsible for a number of successful business development projects, most notably the acquisition and integration of Hawker Pacific and the recent stake in Scottsdale Jet Center.
Best assumed his current role as SVP, strategic global growth, in December 2018 and has made significant progress in aligning the sales organization and improving our customer data management.
David Paddock said, “With more than 30 years’ experience in commercial and aviation roles, including 10 years leading large organizations in the FBO, airport ground handling and aviation service sectors, I am confident David will further drive the successful growth of the US region by focusing on customer engagement, advancing our US operations and living our values. I wish him and the US leadership team every continued success.”
Best is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK, where he earned his MBA and is a member of the Institute of Directors. He has lived and worked in Europe, Asia and the USA throughout his business career. Best will be based in Teterboro, New Jersey.
