Sheltair has announced that its new hangar and office facility at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport has been completed and is now open.
On the same property as Sheltair’s brand-new full-service FBO, this exclusive hangar can accommodate large cabin class size aircraft like the G650 and Global Express. The building comes at the perfect time to support the region’s ski season.
Like its FBO terminal building, which was opened on September 9th, Sheltair built this 31,050 square foot hangar with innovative traits designed to deliver a unique customer experience. In addition to its 28-foot tail-height doors, the hangar features translucent cellular panels for natural daylighting, infrared heating systems, high-volume fans for air circulation, and overhead doors for easy street-side access. Sheltair has also added attractive polished-concrete floors and rich native mountain-region landscaping to complete and enhance the structure.
Offering 4,455 square feet of adjacent office space, Sheltair conveniently equipped the building with private entrances for tenants and three individual suites with direct access to the hangar. In addition, EV charging stations are available on-site, reflecting the company’s focus on the customer and pledge to green initiatives.
“We have always stayed true to our commitment to delivering the world’s finest aviation products for the world’s finest aviation family, our customers,” said Sheltair’s COO, Todd Anderson. “Every detail was carefully designed and thought through. This complex is a testament to our focus on the customer and the business and general aviation communities that we proudly support.”
