World Fuel Services, a global fuel logistics, transaction and payment processing company, has opened an office in Toluca, Mexico. The aim is to increase its support of aircraft operators, airports and FBOs across Mexico and Latin America, offering contract programs, a reliable fuel supply, plus other business and general aviation solutions.
Headquartered in Miami, Florida, World Fuel Services already has a presence in Mexico City and Cancún, with other offices in South America in Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. The company has over 5,000 employees worldwide, operating in 190 countries, with 150 offices.
Michael Szczechowski, senior vice president business aviation sales, World Fuel Services, said, “Toluca is no doubt the heart of business aviation in Mexico. As the industry grows and matures, having an office presence here better positions us to support our customers across the region with local expert knowledge.”
