The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan and Jetex have signed a memorandum of cooperation that will bring a new FBO facility to Tashkent-Eastern Airport through a public-private partnership agreement.
The agreement, signed by Transport Minister Ilhom Mahkamov and Jetex founder Adel Mardini, outlines plans for a comprehensive business aviation facility.
The new development will feature full-service FBO operations, aircraft maintenance and repair capabilities, aircraft sales services, dedicated hangar facilities, and premium ground transportation services.
The development represents a significant expansion of business aviation infrastructure in Central Asia and will create over 200 skilled aviation jobs in the region.
The facility aims to enhance Tashkent’s position as a strategic hub for business aviation traffic between Europe and Asia.
The public-private partnership will leverage Jetex’s extensive operational experience to ensure reliable and sustainable development of business aviation in Uzbekistan.
