Luxaviation Group, global leader in business aircraft and helicopter operations headquartered in Luxembourg, has solidified its position as the current largest operator of Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen2 aircraft in Europe.
Luxaviation Group has recently acquired their fifth Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen2 aircraft within a span of two years.
The CJ4 Gen2 fleet, which was initially introduced with the purchase of the first aircraft in July 2022, is primarily based in Belgium and operates across Europe and to destinations within northern Africa.
Additionally, Luxaviation Belgium has received approval for its Citation CJ4 Gen2 owners and SkyClub members to fly into Saint Tropez La Môle Airport.
Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group said, “We are proud to be the largest operator of CJ4 Gen2 aircraft in Europe. The aircraft’s lower fuel consumption when compared to other light jets was one of the reasons that drove us to choosing Textron as a partner in our transition towards more sustainable air transport.”
“We aim to provide our clients with state-of- the art service at all times, and this collaboration with Textron Aviation allows us to do so, as the CJ4 Gen2 directly responds to our customer’s needs for comfortable air transport experiences,” said Ward Bonduel, CEO of Luxaviation Belgium.
This latest addition to the CJ4 Gen2 fleet will be operational as of mid-April and made available to Luxaviation’s SkyClub customers.
This aircraft offers practical features such as a maximum cruise speed of 451 ktas/835 kmh, comfortable seating for nine passengers, and the convenience of onboard call reception provided by Luxaviation.
