Makers Air has announced the successful acquisition of Staniel Air. This strategic move reinforces Makers Air’s commitment to travel experiences from South Florida to the Bahamas and Exuma Islands, while expanding the number of flights, aircraft fleet, staff, hangar capacity and destinations served.
“It is an honor to celebrate this major milestone for Makers Air in the acquisition of Staniel Air. This acquisition complements and fortifies Makers Air’s capabilities, bolstering our existing fleet and enlarging our existing departure and arrival lounges,” said David Hocher, president & owner of Makers Air. “By assimilating Staniel Air’s aircraft into the Makers Air portfolio, we are well positioned to provide expanded services to current destinations, add new scheduled routes, in addition to enhancing our private charter division.”
With this acquisition Makers Air is expanding their fleet by nearly 20% and increasing their flight availability by 25% with 24/7 booking options.
The expanded flight frequencies resulting from this consolidation enable clients to exercise enhanced flexibility in crafting tailor-made itineraries, further accentuating the customer-centric approach both brands are renowned for.
Headquartered at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE), Makers Air will also acquire Staniel Air’s existing hangar, increasing space for the aircraft, lounge areas, and services for guests.
