Metrojet has appointed Justin Yeung as the director, aircraft management and charter (DAMC) and Captain Stewart Borg as the new director, flight operations (DFO).
Yeung is responsible for client relations, continuing airworthiness and management organization (CAMO), business development and joint venture projects within the Aircraft Management and Charter line of business. As the company’s DFO, Borg oversees all aspects of the AMC’s flight operations department, including flight crew management, integrated operations centre, flight training and flight operation support.
“Our client relations and CAMO teams have consistently delivered great value to our clients even through this extremely challenging period for the industry. In my new role, I hope to support them to further develop our core business of providing class-leading aircraft management services to our clients,” said Yeung.
“It is my pleasure to continue providing Metrojet clients with safe and quality operations. I believe my extensive experience in operating large-cabin Gulfstream aircraft for over 22 years will add value to the Metrojet fleet and bring practical insights to the aircraft operations and management services,” said Borg.
“Justin’s ability to handle complex business transactions coupled with his extensive experience in commercial and legal matters will prove valuable in promoting the growth of Metrojet in Hong Kong, mainland China and Southeast Asia. Stewart’s dedication, passion, focus on safety and extensive operational experience in business aviation will enhance the productivity, efficiency and reliability of Metrojet Flight Operations,” said Captain Denzil White, Metrojet’s managing director of aircraft management and charter.
