Dassault Aviation has acquried the worldwide maintenance activities of ExecuJet, a Luxaviation subsidiary. The integration process will be phased throughout 2019, after administrative authorizations have been obtained.
Luxaviation Group acquired ExecuJet Group in spring 2015, including its maintenance (MRO) centers, FBOs and aircraft management activities. The sale agreement with Dassault Aviation is limited to the maintenance activities of ExecuJet and will enable Dassault Aviation to strengthen its worldwide presence, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, Oceania, the Middle East and Africa.
Eric Trappier, chairman and CEO of Dassault Aviation, said, “The acquisition of ExecuJet’s MRO operations will strengthen Dassault Aviation’s global footprint, especially in Asia-Pacific, Oceania, Middle East and Africa. With ExecuJet, we will continue the development of our high-quality customer support network, while growing our Falcon market share.”
Graeme Duckworth, MRO executive vice president at ExecuJet, commented, “Our worldwide team has been providing state-of-the-art maintenance activities for decades. Its excellence will continue to be accessible to all private jet owners globally. The shareholder changes but ExecuJet will maintain its identity and its leadership. We will benefit from valuable synergies within the Dassault Group.”
