Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln, Nebraska, facility has been approved by the department of civil aviation of Aruba, the Dutch Caribbean island off the coast of Venezuela, as an approved aircraft maintenance organization. The company is the world’s largest privately-owned business jet support facility, offering a range of services, from MRO to FBO, in locations across North America.
As well as Aruba, the Lincoln facility holds certificates for 10 additional civil aviation authorities around the globe, including Argentina, Bermuda, Brazil, the Cayman Islands, China, EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), India, Mexico, South Africa and Venezuela.
Chris VanderWiede, chief inspector of international airworthiness, said, “It is vital that Duncan Aviation be able to serve its customers, regardless of location. To meet that goal, the company is constantly evaluating its certifications and working with customers and prospects worldwide to secure new certifications when it makes sense to do so.”
