Aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul provider Jet Maintenance Solutions (Jet MS) has been formally recognized by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
Jet MS has been approved to provide line and base maintenance services in Nigeria and, according to the issued certificate, the company is allowed to service Hawker BAE 125-700/800/750/800XP/850XP/900XP and Bombardier CL-600-2B19, CL-600-2B16, BD-700-1A10/1A11 types.
The business aviation market in Nigeria is booming but the country hosts only a few maintenance organizations, most of which provide only limited services. This gap in the market will allow Jet MS to further develop and cooperate with Nigerian business aviation clients to help meet demand.
Darius Saluga, CEO of Jet Maintenance Solutions, said, “Entering the Nigerian market was a huge milestone for us. We went through an extensive auditing process and received the certificate for our European quality service. This approval will provide operators with the possibility to receive qualitative and rapid service. I am certain that certificate will only facilitate our expansion in the so-called the Giant of Africa.”
Jet MS is continuing to expand its operations both geographically and with the type of aircraft it can service. The company has recently added Bombardier Global 5000/6000 to its capabilities, and was recognized by the civil authorities of Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Aruba.
