Naples Jet Center has received certification from the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC) to perform maintenance operations on aircraft registered in Brazil.
The approval from ANAC allows Naples Jet Center to provide airframe, engine and avionics services to certain models of jet and turboprop aircraft registered in Brazil.
Matt Hagans, CEO and founder of Naples Jet Center and parent company Eagle Creek Aviation, commented, “The ability to service Brazilian-registered aircraft is vital to our continued growth in southwest Florida.
“We are proud to have partnered with Embraer and worked with ANAC in Brazil from the beginning of the Phenom’s introduction to the US market beginning in 2008, and we intend to continue maintaining the fleet with utmost precision and professionalism.
“In fact, our first Phenom 300 customer from Brazil has already arrived in Naples to complete the scheduled 72-month airframe inspection series and hot section engine inspections on the installed Pratt & Whitney PW535E engines, all completed at Naples Jet Center.”
The company’s quality control and operations staff dedicated the better part of a year to securing the ANAC certification. The preparation included translating all repair station manuals to Portuguese, along with additional requirements exclusive to ANAC.
