Planet 9, a luxury aircraft management and private charter company headquartered in Los Angeles, has announced the addition of two Global Express aircraft to its owned and operated fleet.
The addition of the ultra-long range Global Express N271GL and Global XRS N372BC, which is its second of this aircraft.
The additions contribute to the rapid expansion of the company, which will celebrate its sixth year of operation in June, reaffirming the growing demand for private aviation.
“While growing, Planet 9 remains nimble to the market and the addition of another Global Express and Global XRS helps us to meet the current market demand for aircraft that can travel worldwide while providing performance and comfort,” said Matt Walter, co-founder of Planet Nine Private Air LLC.
“Couple that with our renowned best-in-class service, we continue to elevate the industry seeing repeat clients and new ones alike each year, hence the need to continuously update our fleet.”
Both the ultra-long range Global XRS N372BC aircraft and the Global Express N271GL aircraft are designed to fly up to 12 hours at a time, making them an ideal solution for inter-continental journeys.
With an elegant, large cabin interior, the Global XRS N372BC aircraft is capable of comfortably seating up to 14 passengers with bedding arrangement for six.
The Global Express N271GL is capable of comfortably seating up to 15 passengers and can also hold bedding arrangements for six. Both aircraft will be accompanied by two pilots and one in-flight representative.
