Avfuel has added Crownair Aviation to its branded FBO network effective February 1.
“Crownair has become part of the legacy of Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport, which has provided San Diego with FBO services for more than 70 years, and brought it to new heights,” said Mark Haynes, vice president of sales for Avfuel. “Avfuel is proud to be part of that legacy, and looks forward to supporting Crownair with fuel and logistics to serve its clients, and its position as the CAA provider at the airport.”
“At Crownair we strive to offer the highest level of service to our customers, and we have that in common with Avfuel,” said Ray Richmond, president of Crownair. “We look forward to providing competitively priced fuel and AVTRIP rewards, along with the benefits customers don’t think about – but certainly want – like supply logistics and on-time delivery.”
Streamlined purchasing with the Avfuel Pro Card is another of Crownair’s branded-location benefits, allowing purchases of all items, with or without a fuel purchase, to be made in one transaction.
Crownair’s 16,000-square-foot facility was completed in 2021. Amenities include a passenger lounge, flight planning and business center, pilot lounge with snooze rooms and shower facilities, and meeting rooms including a 15-seat conference room with full A/V capabilities and an adjacent deck overlooking the ramp.
Crownair is IS-BAH Stage 3 registered, with both terminal and line staff committed to passenger, crew and aircraft safety, from wheels down to wheels up.
