The NBAA has postponed this year’s Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference to April because of the Omicron Covid-19 variant.
The decision to delay the popular business aviation conference, which this year is taking place in San Diego, California was taken last month by its organizers, the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). The show was scheduled to be held on January 18-21, 2022 in and will now take place April 5-7, 2022, at the same location, the San Diego Convention Center.
In announcing the decision, NBAA noted the fluid situation surrounding Covid-19. NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen said, “With the recent emergence of the Omicron variant there is a lot we are still learning about this virus.
“Moving the conference from immediately after the holiday season will provide us with a firmer understanding of this situation so we can ensure appropriate safety protocols are in place as we move forward with our exciting and dynamic 2022 events.”
