The South Florida Business Aviation Association continues to put community support at the center of its initiatives, raising US$52,167 for charities and scholarship opportunities in 2023.
The funds, raised through the association’s annual Charity Golf Classic in Palm Beach Garden, directly benefit multiple SFBAA student scholarships, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Angel Flight Southeast.
The tournament brought in more than 35 sponsors and 210 registered golfers spread across PGA National Resort & Spa’s two courses on November 2.
Since its inaugural Charity Golf Classic in 2003, the SFBAA has raised more than $450,000 for charities and scholarships. The event is widely recognized as one of the largest of its kind in business aviation.
The SFBAA reported on the Charity Golf Classic’s success during its first quarter board meeting on January 24, 2024.
