Business aviation traffic at the two Milano Prime terminals managed by SEA Prime at Linate and Malpensa have shown a very strong growth this summer.
In the months of July and August the growth has been significant in comparison to 2020 (+55%) and 2019 (+35%), outperforming the growth of the Italian business aviation market (+12% in July vs 2019), according to source WingX.
With an average of approximately 95 daily movements and a peak of 140 movements on July 12th when approximately 80 aircraft were parked at Milano Prime’s 11 hangars and apron, the summer season
has confirmed the attractiveness of Milano as a top fashion forward destination for both national and international traffic, which represented 60% of total.
An extraordinary number of key events in presence are expected in September and in the coming months in Milano – including the Design Week, the Fashion Week, the Italian Grand Prix and the UEFA Champions League matches involving both AC Milan and FC Internazionale, which will all represent and important catalyst of business aviation traffic.
