Private jet charter technology company Jettly has launched a new inflight catering division, Jettly Eats, which consists of a network of catering and restaurant facilities that serve more than 1,800 airports around the world, with more sites expected to be added in the future.
Catering partners are charged an annual membership fee to include their menu items on Jettly Eats. The menus are made available to Jettly Eats customers, who then have the option to buy. As the catering items are delivered successfully, the partner’s balance is accrued, and a payout is distributed to the catering partner once a month by Jettly Eats.
The initial catering partner is Air Culinaire Worldwide, which can provide global inflight private jet catering with as little as 24-hours’ notice.
Justin Crabbe, CEO at Jettly, said, “There are currently more than 2,600 aviation catering facilities around the world. The goal of Jettly Eats is to unite all of them to one central platform and allow Jettly customers and travelers to arrange private jet inflight catering from more than 1,800 airports worldwide. In the future, we hope that we can provide service to all 2,600 facilities, regardless of location.
“Our goal is to provide our travelers with access to a global team of highly qualified, inflight catering professionals. There will be someone available 24 hours per day, seven days a week and 365 days a year to ensure regardless of when you plan to travel, you can have the food desired.”
