Business aviation booking platform Stratajet has announced that it will open an office in the USA by the end of the year to consolidate its international expansion program, to be launched at NBAA 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 17-19, 2015.
Stratajet’s London-based team recently completed the first phase of its campaign to gain a critical mass of 500 European operator aircraft onto its platform and officially launched its live booking system to the traveling customer at the end of September 2015.
Stratajet will set up an office in Silicon Valley from where the company will drive the US stage of its operator and FBO partner development program, known as Operation Long Reach.
Starting at NBAA, US operators will be able to sign up to have their aircraft capacity sold directly through Stratajet’s free to use operating system, known as Stratafleet. This web-based software features unique technology that allows partial empty legs to be included in trip quotes and which, once set up, requires no human interaction on the part of the operators to provide pricing. The technology also features the ability to include all of the variable costs of a trip such as handling, out of hours and airfield charges.
Stratajet CEO Jonny Nicol commented, “The response we have received from European operators and FBOs during Operation Long Reach has been incredible. Companies like Gama Aviation and Signature Flight Support have seen the benefit of what Stratajet’s technology can do to increase the market reach for their businesses and now is the time for US operators and FBOs to be able to join the party.
“For a truly international tech company looking to disrupt and grow a stagnant market, Silicon Valley is the perfect place for Stratajet to set up its US office and to build its Stateside business. We are looking forward to demonstrating our platform at NBAA and inviting all forward thinking companies to be part of this game changing event.”
