Medavia, official name Mediterranean Aviation Company Limited, has a truly remarkable history and is the perfect example of a resilient organisation. Founded in 1978, with its own fleet of turboprop aircraft, it soon established a reputable name running charters to and from remote airfields of the Oil and Gas industry in North Africa.
The Company is established and based in Malta, supported by airport offices in Libya. Medavia currently offers a wide range of services to the aviation industry. These include amongst others, specialised services in Ground Handling of VIP, Executive, Cargo, Diplomatic, Ambulance and Passenger flights. Acknowledging the utmost importance of an impeccable customer journey, Medavia strives to offer the highest levels of customer care. This is all possible thanks to a dedicated and fully trained staff complement who understand the needs of the business and those of private aircraft users. We are the only ground handling service provider in Malta with our own private apron and hangar.
Medavia also offers competitive aircraft maintenance, aircraft operations and charters, charter brokerage and design engineering. Complementing its service offering, Medavia is also an EASA approved CCTO (cabin crew training organisation). Moreover, an IATA approved corporate travel office complements the needs of the Company and its customers.
