Private aviation company Jetex has opened its first FBO in the UK at London Biggin Hill.
The FBO, which was first announced last year, is located at Hangar 510 at London Biggin Hill and is now fully operational to welcome international private jet flyers. The previous tenant at the hangar was Signature.
The FBO offers on-site UK Border Force and customs control to ensure that passengers and crew enjoy an efficient ground experience. Jetex will also offer assistance with ground transport, hotel accommodation, catering and concierge services.
London Biggin Hill and the Jetex FBO are located 9 miles (15km) from Canary Wharf and 15 miles (25km) from Central London, with helicopter transfers taking passengers to and from the heart of the British capital in just six minutes and limousine transfers in less than 50 minutes.
The modern airport runway (1,806 meters) allows most aircraft to operate without payload or range restrictions, including non-stop transatlantic flights.
Jetex said that the London FBO has been designed to feel like a warm, contemporary space. The 1,900 sq.m. private terminal includes several lounges designed with passenger privacy in mind, retail and entertainment areas, fully equipped boardrooms, shower suites and much more. The FBO also offers on-site recreational and flight support facilities.

London Biggin Hill caters exclusively for aircraft in business and private aviation and in 2022 reported its strongest year ever, with more than 26,000 movements, up from 18,900 in 2021. The airport typically connects flights to more than 750 destinations across over 70 countries.
