MAC Air Group of Maine Aviation Corporation will be adding FBO services to its portfolio this spring with the addition of a 43,000ft² facility for MAC Jets alongside its 15,000ft² maintenance facility at Portland International Jetport, Maine, USA. The company will also join the Avfuel network.
“We look forward to further serving the aviation community as an FBO facility,” said Allyn Caruso, owner of Maine Aviation Corporation.
“We’re a three-generation family business, and passionate about aviation and providing service that’s second-to-none. We wanted to partner with a fuel supplier with those same values – family, passion, quality service – which is why we’ve decided to take this next step with Avfuel Corporation. It couldn’t be a better match.”
MAC Air Group has been in operation for nearly 60 years, specializes in charter, sales and maintenance and operates 18 jets.
“Our success is a result of our dedication to total customer satisfaction – our number one business objective,” said Caruso. “Our broad range of services and capabilities permits us to offer a full complement of professional support, soon to include FBO services.”
Avfuel Corporation has provided the MAC Air Group with contract fuel for its charter business for the past nine years. “We eagerly welcome MAC Air Group to the Avfuel network as a branded FBO,” said Joel Hirst, vice president of sales for Avfuel Corporation.
“The Caruso family’s dedication to the industry is inspiring and we’re pleased to have them on board – they add great value to the Avfuel network as an elite establishment.”
